Italian design studio Lazzarini Design presented an interesting project, in which a compact Fiat 500 turns into a real super car. For this small car will be equipped with an engine from the Ferrari 458 Italia.

Project Car Fiat 550 was named Italia. From the normal Fiat 500 he first distinguished located behind a 4.5-liter V8, whose power was reduced from 570 to 550 hp
Body Fiat 500, the donor will be wider than 300 mm on each side, front 200 mm on each side of the back, its wheelbase is also increased by about 300 mm and 2600 mm reach.
Due to the large size of the engine fuel tank will be moved to the front of the car, just settle down with two special counterweight, through which the weight of the Fiat 550 Italia will be 998 kg.

As noted in Lazzarini Design, the studio is now looking for investors to implement the project – for this it needs about 550 thousand dollars.  Tuning cars is not appliance repair, so long as there is no guarantee that the Fiat 550 Italia supercar will indeed be built.
