The company Aston Martin brought to the Villa d’Este Elegance Competition Concept Car Project AM310 – pre-production prototype of the future replacement model Aston Martin DBS. Production model is expected to show in late August at the California contest elegance Pabbl Beach, and it will be on sale in 2013.
Replacement of DBS is based on the latest Aston Martin VH platform, and is expected to be built with the active use of aluminum and carbon fiber – this stuff Brits have mastered in the course of work on an exclusive One-77 model, which was entirely monocoque made of composite. In the One-77, incidentally, was borrowed and the overall design style of the new model with a strongly sloping roof, and narrowed the rear of the cab.

No technical details about the project AM310 yet: it is known that the machine is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12, with capacity greater than 550 horsepower. This same engine will receive the serial and model, but its exact specifications have not been disclosed.
Earlier it was reported that the company intended to hold Aston Martin DBS closed premiere in mid-May at the Nurburgring, to selected customers who have already made an advance payment for the car or are willing to do it soon. This event took place or not is not specified.
